John Asher, PT, OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist)
Director of Rehabilitation Services
John has been with PVHC since 1995. He grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended college at the University of New Mexico and completed his physical therapy degree from UNM in 1987. John worked as the outpatient physical therapy coordinator at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1987-1995 before joining PVHC.
John specializes in orthopedic injuries, post-operative care, and vestibular disorders. His hobbies include archery, photography, hunting, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. He and his wife spend the majority of their free time following their son and daughter to sporting events throughout the year.
Troy M. Fulton, MS, PT
Troy is a Powell native. He graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the charter class of the University of South Dakota in 1993. He worked in Brookings, South Dakota for one year before returning home to Powell. He worked in Cody for 5 years at West Park Hospital doing in-patient, out-patient, nursing home, and home health care. With a growing family and opportunity to work closer to home, he joined the Big Horn Basin Orthopedic Clinic. There he served as director and physical therapist at the out-patient clinic for 11 years, further developing his interest and skills in manual therapy. Troy joined Powell Valley Healthcare in 2011.
Troy is an 18-year member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has advanced training in functional capacity evaluation, pre-employment/impairment assessments. He is also skilled at treating cervical injuries and headaches. In addition to patient care, Troy enjoys camping and spending time with his wife, Diana, and their three boys. He is also an aspiring wood worker and carver.
Gail Mills, PT
Gail graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1982 and began her journey as a physical therapist at West Park Hospital in Cody, Wyoming. She worked there for almost 5 years doing inpatient and outpatient therapy. Gail and her husband, Gary, then decided to start a family and Gail took some time off to raise their children.
She started working again for Powell Valley Home Care in 1996. She worked for PVHC Home Care until that service discontinued in 2015. Gail
enjoys helping people regain their full potential following surgery or
injuries. In her spare time, she likes to read, go camping, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and their three adult children
Mary Dietz, PTA
Mary is a Powell native. She graduated from San Juan College in Farmington, NM as a physical therapist assistant in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science in 1998 from the University of Montana, in Missoula.
Mary has worked with Powell Valley Healthcare since August of 1998. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Wyoming Physical Therapy Association (WPTA). Mary enjoys quilting and exercising and she and her husband enjoy raising sheep and goats.
Sarah Arthur, PTA
Sarah earned her Physical Therapist Assistant - Associate of Applied Science degree from San Juan College in Farmington, NM in 2014. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Montana State University.
Sarah has worked as a physical therapy technician for 6 years at PVHC. She moved to Powell from Bozeman, Montana and has lived in Powell for 8 years. Sarah enjoys fly fishing with her husband, quilting, roping, and riding horses.
Brett R. Soloai, OT, CHT (Certified Hand Therapist)
Brett grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and graduated in 1989 from Central Institute of Technology (CIT) in Wellington, New Zealand with a Diploma of OT (Bachelor of Science equivalent in the USA). He practiced OT in New Zealand in acute psychiatry, acute neurology, orthopedics and community health.
He arrived in the USA with his wife and family in 1996. After completing his National Board Certification in OT he worked 11 years in a variety of settings in south eastern states in long term care, in–patient, and out-patient care. He has been practicing as a hand therapist since 2001 and certified since 2010. Brett is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) and became a US citizen in 2010. He joined PVHC in April of 2007 and moved to Powell where he enjoys the mountains and the great outdoors and his family. His hobbies include racquetball, disc golf, and basketball.
